Projects benefiting from Town, District and County Council's co-operation include the CCTV system.
Cirencester Town Council operates a Customer Information Point from
which a whole range of information can be obtained about services that
Cirencester Town Council, Cotswold District Council and Gloucestershire
County Council provide.
Information is available from our Customer Information Officers who will
be pleased to assist with any queries you may have between 9.00 a.m. and
3.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
In addition, the Town Council provides the opportunity for organisations and groups to advertise their events by way of the notice boards that
stand within the five wards.

The Abbey Grounds, St Michael's Park, Baunton Lane and the Kingshill Lane Sports Development.
PUBLIC NOTICE BOARDS
One in each ward, the Town Centre boards, the map and bus timetables in the Market Place.
TOWN ORGANISATIONS
Many of these are supported by annual grants from the Town Council.
PUBLIC SEATS
These are provided in various parts of the Town.
CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
The electricity and erection charges for the Christmas lighting.
RIVERS AND STREAMS
The Town Council currently control the flow of water and clean river beds where appropriate as riparian owners. The Environmental Agency has ultimate responsibility.
MONDAY AND FRIDAY STREET MARKETS
The Charter market and the mop fair are run by the Town Council and represent a source of income.
PLANNING
Every planning application in the Town is examined and comments are submitted to the Cotswold District Council.
