Youth Town Council

Members of the Youth Town Council need to be aged between 11 and 18 years old and need to live in or around Cirencester. We hope to hold six meetings a year after school.

Would you consider becoming a Cirencester Youth Councillor?  Visit our Latest News page for further information.

The previous Youth Town Council helped design and set up the new Youth Project called the ‘Ozone’ now held at the Impact Youth Centre, which is open during school term time only every Tuesday between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm.

The previous Youth Town Council also helped design a mission statement, which is: -

“We are people from the Youth Town Council who live in and around Cirencester aged between 13 – 16 years old. We are a team that are prepared to take on the responsibilities of our roles and are willing to push ourselves to the full extent of our capabilities. We as the Youth Town Council are here to try and change people’s negative views of young people. We are interested in the issues that affect us, we know what is best for us and we would like to have a say. We would like more things to do, new places to go and to lower the prices of activities so they are easier to access.”
