The Oxford Printmakers is a long established workshop set up in 1976 when a group of artists, many from the Ruskin School of Drawing, wanted to continue their work when there were few print workshops in the Uk and none in the Oxford area - this is an opportunity to see work by a large number of new and prominent printmakers using a vast array of printing techniques varying from vibrant innovative styles to more traditional methods in use since the 16th century - there will be a display of tools and equipment as well as a video showing the artists at work (Meet the artists on Sat 21 Jan from 2-4pm) - further information from New Brewery Arts - tel: 01285 657181 (Note Sunday opening 10 am - 4pm)
