Angling

Trout fishing may be enjoyed in the River Coln at Bibury or near Fairford, whilst the Churn and lake at Cirencester's Abbey Grounds offer coarsed fishing - permits available via D & J Sports, Cricklade Street. Fishing also at the Cotswold Water Park at South Cerney.

Bowls

At Ashcroft Road is the green of the Cirencester Bowling Club, which, along with other local teams, is in the Cirencester Bowling League. (Access is from the Brewery Car Park)

Cricket

The main team is the Cirencester CC, whose delightful home ground is at Cirencester Park. Other local teams belong to the Cirencester and District Cricket Association and some play in the evening league.

Football

The Corinium Stadium, Kingshill Lane, is the ground of Cirencester Town AFC. Other local teams play at the Town Council's recreation areas at Kingshill Lane and Baunton Lane.

Golf

The Cirencester Golf Course (18 holes) lies less than two miles from the centre of town, near Baunton, on the Cheltenham Road. Also at South Cerney and Oaksey.

Rugby Football

The Cirencester RFC ground and clubhouse is at the Whiteway.

Sailing

May be enjoyed at the lakes of the Cotswold Water Park at South Cerney.

Tennis

A wide and varied programme of classes to suit people of all ages and levels of fitness. Please see the website or pick up a leaflet at the centre for the class timetable.

Sports Hall

Available for badminton, 5-a-side football, basketball, cricket nets, etc.
