The Cirencester Recorded Music Society | Cirencester Town Council

The Cirencester Recorded Music Society

The Cirencester Recorded Music Society was founded 35 years ago and today is proud to be one of the largest of these Societies in the country. We cater mainly for classical music lovers and our programmes cover a wide range, including jazz, and the presenters are frequently well known in the music fraternity.

Our season lasts from September to May and meetngs are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month with the exception of September and January when we meet on the 3rd Wednesday only.

Meetings are held at the Ashcroft Centre, Ashcroft Road, Cirencester and start promptly at 7.30pm and finish approximately at 9.30pm with a break for refreshments during the evening.

We also arrange a programme of coach outings to concerts to venues such as the Bath Mozart Fest and Birmingham Symphony Hall.

This is a friendly Society for people of all ages who enjoy music in the company of others with similar tastes.
