Public Participation at Meetings
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to attend our meetings and welcome participation from the public.
Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the Town Council and its’ Committees and have the opportunity to speak.
If you live in Cirencester and are included on the electoral register, or excluded from the register by age but reside in the town, you can participate by speaking, for a maximum of 3 minutes, on an item which is to be discussed by the Council or Committee.
If you would like to speak please let Andrew Tubb, the Chief Executive Officer, know by post (Dyer House, 3 Dyer Street, Cirencester, GL7 2PP) or e-mail exec@cirencester.gov.uk) by no later than 5.00 p.m. on the last working day before the day of the Meeting.
If you wish to speak on a matter which is not being considered at the meeting, this will be at the discretion of the Mayor or presiding Chairman with notification being required, as above.
Letters/e-mails received on a matter being considered by the Council or a Committee will be brought to the attention of the members; correspondence received which does not relate to an agenda item will be tabled for information.
